Specialty Coffees & Christian Books, to your door.
It isn't just about the Coffee.
It's for waiting out the snow storm with cozy blankets and a crackling fire.
It's while you prepare to homeschool during those wee hours of the morning.
It's for times of making cookies together and having to taste the dough more than once.
It's for warming up while shoveling snow, and maybe having a snowball fight.
And it's for times curled up with the kiddo's while good book together.
It's about the memories,
the moments,
the people.
Welcome to our in home Roasterie.
Surrounded by bags of beans from around the world, this is one of my favorite places.
"What is the purpose of this Coffee?"
That is always my first question I ask myself.
My next questions are: "Do I want the challenge of creating a beautiful Blend, or are we sticking with an incredible single Origin?"
"What Roast level can these Beans take?"
"Are we going for Espresso or Drip?"
"Which Season will this Coffee be for?"
After asking myself these and other questions, the hunt for the perfect Beans are sought out, tried and purchased.
Then I get to work.
Hearing the sounds of my Diedrich IR-5 working hard while the beans roast and tumble around is soothing, and of course the aromas are pretty incredible too.
Then comes the brewing.
This is where it all comes together.
With the sweet satisfaction of the dry and wet aromas of the ground Coffee, the brewing, the mouth feel and the taste.
Then I ask the last, and most important question:
"Did I achieve my goals?"
Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't, But if I don't, it's back to the Coffees I go, making my adjustments and start again.
Blends cannot be rushed, and can take months to create.
People think that Coffee is pretty simple to make. But there is much more to it than most realize, starting with the Farmers. Their dedication and knowledge is the foundation to good, quality Coffee.
I truly enjoy the challenges that each Coffee brings and I thank you for trying them.

Waiting out the snow storm with crackling fires and cozy blankets.
Of course, there will be a few Latte's made for us too.
As always, cheers to the Home Barista!
Going to Reindeer Lane Christmas Tree Farm, has been a tradition for our Family, over ten years now.
Located in Trimble Missouri, they offer Family fun of finding, cutting and bringing home your perfect tree!
They also offer hot Chocolate, candy canes, popcorn and even photos with Santa too!
They are only open THREE days each year, starting Friday, the day after Thanksgiving until that Sunday.
And this year, the line was backed up on the street!
Keep this place in mind for next year, it's worth it.
From our Family to yours, Merry Christmas!
Two days after Thanksgiving is usually pretty warm.
But this year, we got a beautiful surprise!
We just want to thank everyone for all of your support these past four years.
On October 26th, we had a celebration in the Pack's parking lot.
We sipped Coffee, ate Cake from Sugar Whipped Bakery, Hula Hooped and enjoyed simple conversation.
We enjoyed seeing each and every one of you!

Thank you Content KC for this great video!
Slow down,... it's the weekend.
This is a simple , and cheaper way to have Espresso at home!
The Moka Pot costs around $35.00 and creates Espresso on your stovetop.
One thing I shouldn't have done in this video is wash the Moka Pot. Some believe it should stay "seasoned" with the Espresso. So maybe just give it a good rinse instead.
Although it does not steam milk for a Latte, there are items out there that just steam milk. Look up "Milk Frothers" and see which one is best for you!
I'm using our Bold Espresso Blend for this Italian style Espresso.
Just a simple, quiet, morning ride together.
It doesn't get much better than this.
I love making Espresso early in the morning.
It's my quiet time.
Here, I know I'll always have my favorite chair waiting for me,
and a good book on hand.
Theres never a line,
I always have a wonderful view out the window,
and the people here are my favorite.
I guess you could say that Home, is my favorite cafe.
(Pulling a shot of our Bold Espresso)
Sadly, these aren't the kind Grandma used to make...
